Certificate, Prize Presenting Ceremony

Bandar Seri Begawan - Eighty students from Bakti Dewa School yesterday received certificates and prizes after successfully completing their end of year examinations recently.

Present as the guest of honour and on hand to present the prizes was Dr Hj Mahali Hj Momin, Director of Schools, Ministry of Education.

During the event, Dr Hj Mahali urged teachers and students to strengthen and improve their relationship and to further improve their standards of learning to achieve better academic results in the future.

The students who received certificates and prizes were from the three branches of Bakti Dewa School from Jerudong, Sungai Akar and Tutong.

Meanwhile, Nurul Fatin Afigah Hj Nordin received the Ahmad Dewa Award, a special award for students who have studied in the school for some time and has achieved outstanding results, for getting 3As and 2Bs during the PSR exams.

Apart from that, she and other three fellow schoolmates also received an award from Insurance Islam TAIB, which was handed over by Hj Osman Mohammad Jair, Acting Manager Insurance TAIB.

The ceremony was also held in conjunction to the school's 25 years Silver Jubilee celebration of its establishment. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
