NDP Opens Jerudong Headquarters

Bandar Seri Begawan - Privy Council member Pengiran KermaNegaa Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Wahab bin Pengiran Anak Sabtu Kamaluddin recently regarded the flag-raising and official opening ceremony of the headquarters of National Development Party (NDP) as a historical importance to the people and nation.

The move, he believes, will enable party members to demonstrate their undivided loyalty to His Majesty.

NDP members are set to provide a service to the government for the benefit especially that of to the future generation of Brunei Darussalam, he added.

He reminded them not to forget to understand the national concept of being truly dedicated to the religion, loyal to the ruler and to love the nation.

Pengiran Kerma Negara Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Wahab was speaking as the guest of honour at the flagraising and official opening ceremony of the party's headquarters at Limbaruh Hijau in Jerudong.

More than 200 people - including 10 foreign envoys in Brunei Darussalam - turned up for the opening.

The day also saw NDP President Yasin Affandy delivering a speech.

He said the presence of the official guest, foreign envoys, members and guests at the ceremony was a great honour for the party, which symbolised their great strive and political will to uphold and glorify the sovereignty and independence of the nation.

He called for the generation to look at the party as their real struggle and to leave the past as history.

"I hope all our current efforts shall open a much wider road to get rid of unhealthy suspicions.
