School Bids Farewell To Teachers

Bandar Seri Begawan - A Thanksgiving ceremony for seven religious teachers, who will be transferred back to Religious School at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, was held yesterday morning at the school hall of Anggrek Desa Primary School Brunei II.

The transfer will begin on January 2006. The ceremony began with the recital of surah al-Fatihah. Present at the event were Cikgu Hjh Taibah bte Hj Ahamd, the headmistress of the school, as well as teachers.

In Cikgu Hjh Taibah's speech, she thanked the seven teachers for giving their cooperation and hard work in ensuring the best possible academic performance at the school. -

Earlier on, some Primary Six teachers from the school were also awarded for their diligence and dedication in educating the students of the school.

Also in attendance as the chief guest and to present the prizes to the teachers was Hj Kamis bin Hj Talib, Senior Supervisor of Primary School Brunei II and IV.
