Raya At Prisons, Rehabilitation Centre

Bandar Seri Begawan - Although they have been separated from their families, the inmates of Jerudong Prison still marked Hari Raya Aidilfitri with officers and staff members.

The celebration, initiated by the Rehabilitation Centre, was aimed to create awareness, form better relationships and give people a chance to ask for forgiveness from each other. Shnilar festivities were also held at the Institute of Maraburong Prison, Women's Prison and Al-Islah Rehabilitation Centre.

There werde various performances and present at the function in Jerudong was Prison Director, Hj Ahmad Hj Dullah, as well as the department's other personnel.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
