21st Century Partnership
Invitation Programme In Japan

Deputy President of Malay Chamber of Commerce, Dr Hj Kamaruddin Dato
Seri Paduka Hj Taib, will be in Japan from December 4 to 11 for the
21st Century Partnership Invitation Programme by Japan's Ministry of
Foreign Affairs.
The programme will aim to provide its
participants with an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of Japan
and strengthen partnerships with various countries through exchange of
views with Japanese experts from its public and private sectors as
well as visits to industrial and cultural institutions.
Meanwhile, Dr Hj Kamaruddin, who is
also the BIMP-EAGA Business Council's Chairperson for Brunei, will
visit the Japan Brunei Friendship Association, Japan Chamber of
Commerce and Industry, the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency,
Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Osaka Chamber of Commerce and
Industry, as well as the Ancient Capital of Japan, Kyoto.
Dr Hj Kamaruddin paid Ambassador Mr
Yoshinobu Nisaka a courtesy call Wednesday morning at the Japanese
Embassy. Dr Hj Kamaruddin was also given a briefing before his
departure to Japan. --
