PWD Processing Overtime Payment

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Public Works Department (PWD) is currently processing overtime payment from the relevant authorities.

This was said by the Department in a statement released yesterday in response to claims made by several staff over the delay in overtime payment, which had been due since August this year.

The claim was highlighted in the Bulletin on Wednesday (Nov 30). "We regret to inform you that most PWD staff haven't received their overtime (payments) on time. I would like to call upon the disgruntled staff of PWD to see the department's authority rather than complaining publicly.

"This issue has been tackled by the department and any complaints such as this should be refered to us for clarification. Anyway, PWD would like to thank these disgruntled staff for their information," the statement said.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
