SR Rimba II Holds Raya Celebration

Bandar Seri Begawan - Rimba II Primary School yesterday held a Hari Raya celebration along with a prize presentation for students at the school.

About 150 students who excelled in their studies throughout the academic year yesterday received their prizes.. Students who scored five `A's or four `A's and 1 `B' in the recent PSR exams were also rewarded, and those who achieved Grade A in the Malay Language and the General Paper were also presented with incentive gifts.

Apart from that, students from the afternoon religious session who excelled in their studies and two students who passed the Arabic school examinations were also awarded with gifts.

Cikgu Hj Narudin bin Hj Puteh, the Headmaster of Rimba II Primary School, thanked the school teachers and staff for their diligence and hard work in delivering the best education for the students.

He said the excellent academic results achieved by the students reflected the commitment and hard work of teachers, parents as well as students.

During the festive celebration, students from various classes showcased colourful stage performances including a Joget performance by the Primary 4 students to enliven the occasion.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
