Raya Celebration At KIGS

Bandar Seri Begawan - Students and staff of Kolej International Graduate Studies (KIGS) held a `Malam Mesra Aidilfitri' to mark the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration last Saturday night at the college.

The event was organised by the Cultural and Arts Society of the college.

Those present at the celebration included members of the KIGS Board of Directors, officers from the Ministry of Education and parents of the students.

The highlight of the night was a musical and drama performance presented by the students, followed by the presentation of prizes to winners of a singing competition, an essay-writing competition and a seven-a-side soccer tournament.

Prizes including televisions, bicycles, microwave ovens, washing machines, overnight stay at the Holiday Lodge and other valuable gifts were given away to winners of lucky draws at the function.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
