Science College Honours Top Achievers

Bandar Seri Begawan - Yesterday morning, Maktab Sains Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan held its annual prize presentation ceremony for students who achieved excellent results this year.

Among the top students included Prince Abdul Muqtadir for his outstanding achievement in Lower Secondary Science in the end of year examination.

In her welcoming speech, the science college's principal, Pg Hjh Sarah binti Hj Kamaludin, congratulated top students from Form One, Form Two and Form Four. She attributed the students' success to the support, understanding and concern of their parents and teachers.

On hand to present prizes to the top students was the guest of honour, Awang Jasdi bin Awang Hj Jamil. The science college's principal and deputy principals also took turns in handing over the prizes.

Meanwhile, the overall exemplary student award went to Faezul Rahim bin Jasdi, who has done very well not only in academics but extra curriculum activities, too.

Beside the presentation of prizes to the top students, other students also received prizes for their achievements in various events such as art competitions, futsal and netball competitions, `Math Sprint', Lower Science quiz as well as activities of the school's Religious and Malay Language departments.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
