allowing them to
experiment different approaches of enquires, by sharing
their points of view in the hopes of developing a more
global understanding of what is common to all enquires
behind diversity. |
The LAMAP programmed, which is
facilitated by Estelle Blanquet from the University of Nice, France,
is structured around some basic rules now known as the 10
principles.
The ten principles of LAMAP, some
of which are localized for France, include children observing and
experimenting on real objects or phenomenon, children arguing and
reasoning, sharing ideas, building knowledge, the teacher proposing
activities arranged in sequence, leaving space for children's
autonomy and children filling their science notebooks with their own
words.
