The first Sports Festival for Primary Schools badminton finals were held at Sungai Kebun village multipurpose hall yesterday. The chief guest Dayang Hajah Norjum bte Hj Mohd Yusop, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Corporate Service), Ministry of Education presented the prizes to the winners.

The girls doubles champion were Dayang Halimatul Masriani and Nur Nadirah from Sengkurong Primary School, Brunei IV after defeating Josphine Berawoh and her partner Nuruljawati from Mata-Mata Primary School, Brunei III.

The girls singles champion was Dayang Nurafiqah Natasha from Sengkurong Primary School , Brunei

IV after defeating Siti Radhiah from Pasar Ulak Primary School Brunei I.

The boys doubles champion were Md Norhisyamuddin and his partner Mohd Nasrini from Sungai Teraban Primary School, Belait after defeating Abdul Hakim Abidin and his partner Md Qamarul Ariffin from Dato Mohd Yassin Primary School, Brunei II.

The boys singles champion was Brendan Ryan Tew from St Andrew's School after defeating Shahrul Nizam from Pehin Datu Jamil Primary School, Brunei 1.
