Bandar Seri Begawan - The Empire Hotel and Country Club is hosting a Dorchester Afternoon Tea at 3pm to 6pm from Aug 12 —24 at the Lobby Lounge.

The guests will savour authentic blends of tea from a choice of the Dorchester blend of full leaf tea from Kenya and Kenilworth, the Big Red Sun; a black tea blend flavoured with fruit, bergamot and caramel, African autumn, a caffeine-free rooibos from South Africa accented with refreshing cranberry and orange flavours and several other teas.

There will be finger sandwiches of cucumber and cream cheese, egg mayonnaise with tomato and shiso cress, chicken with wholegrain mustard mayonnaise and smoked salmon and cream cheese.

A pre-dessert fruit puree has whipped cream

called the Passion Fool to cleanse the palette before the next course of French pastries and warm scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream flown especially from Cornwall, United Kingdom.

The culinary team from The Dorchester, Keisha Williams, Chef de Partie and Gavin Couper, Deputy Promenade Manager, are in Brunei. They have been with The Dorchester for one year and three years respectively.
