Presidential Honour For Prince

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah,Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, last night was awarded the Order of the Golden Heart with the Rank of Grand Cross by Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, President of the Philippines in a ceremony at the Malacanyang Palace in Manila.

The accompanying citation stated that His Royal Highness was receiving the Presidential Award "in recognition of His Royal Highness' humanitarian work, civic involvement, and efforts at promoting Peacebuilding, Interfaith Dialogue and Cooperation for Peace, and education in southern Philippines".  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
