Students, Parents Join In St John's Contest

Bandar Seri Begawan - The General Studies Department of St John's School conducted an Art and Craft competition recently for its Kindergarten/Lower Primary section in conjunction with the school's General Studies Week.

With a parent-child theme, the contest aimed to encourage interactions between parents and their young children. Some 22 enthusiastic and inspirational parents took part in the programme, working patiently with their children.

The participants demonstrated their skills and knowledge in origami, flower arrangement and the making of greeting cards, among others.

The judges faced a tough decision but based on creativity and presentation, they picked the best five teams who later received awards. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
