HSBC Holds Masquerade Ball

Begawan - Young Chin Ming with her Korean traditional costume
impressed the panel of judges and walked away with one of the four
cash prizes after she was selected as the winner of the Fancy Dress
Competition organised by HSBC main branch in the capital as part of
their branch's Masquerade Ball' roadshow event.
First runner-up in Category 1(age 5-7
years) went to Grace Anne Abberton, who dressed up as a cheerleader.
Category 2 (8-11 years) was meanwhile won by Carmen Ng Jiahwen, who
dressed up as a `Princess', while Nurul Shafigah Hamdani in her gown
walked away with the second prize.
The line-up of young models doing
their catwalk appearances in their respective fancy dress costumes and
selfmade masquerade masks drew quite some attention at the HSBC
banking hall, entertaining the crowd as well as the panel of judges
comprising the bank's management and senior officers.
Apart from the Masquerade Ball
Roadshow in the banking hall, the bank's Premier centre also
entertained customers with refreshments and decorations. The fun and
festivities will continue until 11,30arn today.
Visitors are also entertained with a
multitude of activities. Customers are able to enjoy the fun
atmosphere and refreshments and at the same time learn more about
Financial Planning and Internet Banking.
Children were entertained at the Kids
Corner put up especially for the event, with the Treasure Dip Game and
MaskMaking Contest being the highlights of j, the children's event.
Meanwhile, walk-in customers had the
chance to enter hourly lucky draws offering exciting prizes, where all
the entries are eligible for the Grand Prize to be drawn today.
The lucky winner of the Grand Prize
can choose between a 2 days I night stay 1 at the Empire Hotel &
Counter Club and a B$200 travel voucher. --
