Oz Lecturer To Talk Food Science An Technology With Students

Bandar Seri Begawan - Lecturer Vicky Solah from the School of Public Health, Curtin University of Technology, Perth in Australia will be in Gadong Friday afternoon to meet with prospective students of food science and technology.

Lau Bee Wen said prospective students and their parents can meet and talk with Solah at her establishment' at B LAU Education Services, Unit 16, U Floor, Block J, Abdul Razak Complex in Gadong between 2 pm and 4 pm.

According to Solah, she added, there are currently three students from Brunei studying Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology and one student studying Master's in Food Technology.

"If you like food and enjoy science, then a career as a food scientist may be for you.

The food industry is the largest industry in the world and needs highly trained professionals in food science and technology to ensure the supply, qualm and safety of food for everybody on the planet," she said.
