Sultan's Grandson, Classmates Visit Nutri Bake

Bandar Seri Begawan - The grandson of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, YAM Pg Anak Abdul Raqiib bin Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Maharaja Setia Laila Dikaja Sahibul Irsyad Pg Anak Dato Laila Utama Hj Abdul Rahim went on a school trip to Nutri Bake, Jerudong yesterday.

More than 60 students from the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Kindergarten School from `Nursery Pink', `Kindergarten I Green' and `Kindergarten 2 Green' visited the factory, accompanied by nine supervisors including the school's acting head.

YAM PgAnakAbdul Raqiib was greeted on arrival by the Factory Operations Manager, Soh Say Peng who also gave a briefing on the production processes of 'roti' or bread products.

Nutri Bake, a company under the Ben Foods (B) umbrella processes more than 10,000 roti a day and distributes the finished products to some primary and secondary schools in the Brunei-Muara District as well as to Supa Save supermarkets throughout the country.

The main objective of trip was to enable the students to gain knowledge and first hand experience of the inner workings of the bakery. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
