Banker's Guarantee For CLMV Countries Reduced

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Labour Department has informed employers, manager representatives as well as the public that the deposit or banker's guarantee imposed on workers from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLMV Countries) will be reduced from $1,200 to $900 for each worker.

The change takes effect from Tuesday 23rd August 2005. The deposit or banker's guarantee for workers from other countries meanwhile remains the same. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
