DBP Publications Available At Discounted Prices

Bandar Seri Begawan - In its ongoing effort to inculcate the culture of reading, Language and Literature Bureau (DBP) Brunei is currently occupying a booth at the Civil

Service Institute (IPA) Complex in Rimba, Gadong to sell its publications at discounted prices.

The department's public relations officer, Siti Zaleha Hj Kaprawi, said the book sale at the IPA is in conjunction with the 'Konvensi Kumpulan Kerja Cemerlang', which opened yesterday and will be held until tomorrow, August 24.

She said book lovers are entitled to 20 per cent discount on all DBP publications as well as bundles of past issues of Mekar at 50 cents each.

"As in every exhibition participated by DBP, we have books at discounted prices as well as past magazines offered at huge discounts," she said.

She added that the agency is actively promoting the culture of reading by offering books at huge discounts.

"Our main point is to provide opportunity for everyone especially the young generation to read, to cultivate the culture of reading," she said.
