The Empire Hotel & Country Club
welcomed columnist Ross Eastgate from The Gold Coast Bulletin,
Australia who is here to do a write up on the hotel as well as the
sultanate for his publication, a hotel press release said.
Accompanied by a hadrah team, Collin
Chan, Director of Sales & Marketing and Ak Danny, Assistant PR and
Marketing Manager of The Empire Hotel & Country Club greeted Eastgate
upon his arrival. This is Eastgate's first visit to Brunei Darussalam,
in cooperation with Royal Brunei Airlines and Brunei Tourism.
He will be taken for trekking in
Temburong's pristine rainforest, a tour of Jerudong Park Playground
and the city. He said he is interested to get to know more about the
kingdom and he was impressed with the rooms and facilities at the
hotel.

Royal Brunei Airlines and Brunei Tourism work together to enhance
awareness and to promote Brunei as a great holiday destination for
eco-tourism in Borneo.
The Gold Coast Bulletin is the only
daily newspaper servicing the entire Gold Coast. It has a circulation
of 76,586 copies with a readership of 170,000. Its readers, from 14 to
65 years, include students, professionals and businessmen. It also
publishes magazines covering travel, furniture, cars, real estate,
restaurants, fashion and jewellery.
