IDBB Holds Business, Accounting Workshop For Future Army Retirees

Bandar Seri Begawan - Islamic Development Bank of Brunei Berhad (IDBB) held a workshop on "Business Plan and Basic Accounting Course for Future Army Retirees" recently at the Empire Hotel and Country Club.

It began with a briefing on the financial institution's diverse range of products and services before a talk from Awg Asut Kadai, Head of SME's Financial Assistance Programme, Resources and Standard Centre at the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources.

Attendees were taught the important factors to be considered for an effective business plan. Among other topics was basic knowledge of accounts presented by Madam Lucy Wong of Legerplus Services to help them become more organised in handling matters.

A question-and-answer session was also conducted. Certificates were presented to participants at the end by IDBB's Corporate Financing Manager Hj Rajali Hj Abu Bakar. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
