Malaysian On Good Behaviour Bond After Guilty Plea

Bandar Seri Begawan - A Malaysian man was released on a year's bond for good behaviour after he pleaded guilty to-entering the country unlawfully at the Bandar Magistrates' Court, yesterday.

Gra Anak Chalom, 59, was arrested by raiding Immigration Enforcement personnel at a house in Kg Batang Mitus, Tutong during the wee hours of yesterday morning.

Immigration Prosecuting officer further told the court that the defendant admitted to entering the country without being in possession of any valid pass, in order to visit his, family here. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
