Thomson Furniture opens new showroom

Bandar Seri Begawan - Large crowds of people gathered yesterday to witness the grand opening' of the new Thomson Furniture Showroom in Kampong Beribi. Present as guest of Honour at the event was Dato Paduka Dr. Hj Mat Sunny, bin Hj Mohd. Hussein, the Deputy Minister of Development.

The new showroom is housed in a three-storey building at Simpang 593, Lot 29994, Kg. Beribi, Jalan Gadong with a built-in area of 30,000 square feet. With its distinctive glass-panel exterior and chic, spacious interior, it showcases Thomson's functional, timeless and reasonably priced furniture, specially selected for the discerning Bruneian customer, in tastefully decorated surroundings.

The morning started off with a welcoming speech by the Executive Director of Thomson Furniture, Mrs Joyce Chen, followed by the ribbon-cutting ceremony and the presentation of a specially-made token of appreciation to the guest of honour. The guest of honor also took the opportunity to tour the showroom.

Thomson carries a wide range of furniture for the living and dining rooms, the bedroom, patio and office. Also available are accessories to complement their furniture like tables and floor lamps, rugs and decorative ornaments.

Thomson's key brands are King Koil Bedding, Scanteak Teakwood, Nieri Italy Sofa, Stanton USA Sofa, Fibrelux Natural Fibre Matresses, SweetDream Natural Mattress, and Canwood Pine Furniture.
