Prince Concludes Singapore Visit

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Royal Highness Prince Mohamad Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and HRH Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah ended a three-day visit to the Republic of Singapore, RTB reported last night.

On Friday, HRH Prince Mohamed paid a courtesy call on the Minister Mentor, Mr Lee Kuan Yew. His Royal Highness also held a four-eyes meeting with Mr Lee Kuan Yew during the visit.

On Friday night, His Royal Highness paid a courtesy call and also held a four-eyes meeting with Professor S Jayakumar. Later, His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pg Anak Hajah Zariah attended a dinner given in their honour by Professor S Jayakumar and wife.

Yesterday morning, HRH Prince Mohamed visited the Malay Heritage Centre at Istana Kampong Gelam. On arrival, His Royal Highness was welcomed by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Management Committee of the Malay Heritage Foundation, Mr Zainul Abideen Rasheed.

After the visit, HRH Prince Mohamed and HRH Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hjh Zariah graced a luncheon that was hosted in their honour by the Minister of Home Affairs, Mr Wong Kan Seng and his spouse.

His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness left Singapore last afternoon. Present at the Changi International Airport to bid farewell to the royal visitors were the Foreign Minster Mr George Yeo and his wife as well as the High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Singapore, Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Yusuf bin Pengiran Kula and his wife. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
