Temporary Home For Fire Victims

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Work Team Project yesterday commenced construction works on a temporary house for Awang Hj Matussin bin Osman, whose Bengkurong home was recently gutted by fire.

Assistant Brunei-Muara District Officer Awang Haji Jamain bin Momin led the team during the project.

Present for the day were Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Pehin Orang Kaya Dewa Pahlawan Dato Paduka Awang Haji Dani bin Hj Ibrahim, Brunei-Muara District Special Duties Officer 1, Brunei-Muara District Special Duties Officer 2, Penghulu Mukim Kilanas, Kg Mukim Kilanas village head and Brunei-Muara-District Office personnel, among others.

Awang Hj Metussin bin Osman and family later expressed their great appreciation for the contributions made by the government agency as well as the other parties involved in lending the family a hand. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
