Sponsors of the upcoming Special Olympics Asia Pacific Bocce event yesterday presented their contributions at the Sports Village meeting room in Berakas.

Kingston Beverage & Creamery handed over 250 committee t-shirts, 200 cartons of water and 50 cartons of Pepsi at the event.

Nestle Products Sdn Bhd presented 300 t-shirts for the athletes, 300 pieces of number tags and 500 packets of Milo 3-in-1. Meanwhile, GTE Sdn Bhd presented their contribution comprising 300 t-shirts and caps for performers for the Hadrah and aerobics group. Service Organisational Development Manager Asia Pacific Region, Mr Simon Koh received the contributions on behalf of the committee.

Hj Mahrub Hj Murni, chairperson of the organising committee also received contributions from Persatuan TIBA including 200 t-shirts for the volunteers while Primatel Communications presented 300 caps for the athletes.

The Special Olympics Asia-Pacific Bocce Competition will be held from August 12 to 14 at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium where participants will compete in the single and team category.
