Tug Of War Association, Tournament Organisers Visit ICC Exhibition

Bandar Seri Begawan - Some fifty members of the Brunei Darussalam Tug of War Association and the organising committee for the Tug of War Competition in conjunction with His Majesty's 59th Birthday celebrations visited the Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamahl Alam Exhibition at the International Convention Centre in Berakas, Tuesday evening.

Present at the visit were Pg Hj Muhammad Jadid Omarali and Chan Sui Kiat, the chairman and cochairman of the Brunei Darussalam Tug of War Association.

Also present was the Brunei-Muara District Officer, Awg Hj Adnan bin Hj Hanafiah. On hand to accompany the group of visitors was Dr. Hj Abd Latif bin Hj Ibrahim, the Director of Balai Kenangan.

The exhibition, which houses many personal items of Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam is on display until August 12, 2005. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
