Three Years, Six Months Jail For Consuming Drug

Bandar Seri Begawan - A local man was found guilty yesterday of consuming a class A drug and imprisoned for three years and six months by the Bandar Magistrate's Court.

Hj Awang Maaraj bin Hj Jaludin was arrested with two other persons during a raid by NCB officers at a house in Kg Sumbiling on October 22, 2000.

The defendant's urine sample was later taken and it tested positive for Methylamphetamine in a test done by the Scientific Services Department.
