BBBF Holds Talk On Business
Recovery Planning

Begawan - A talk on business recovery planning was delivered by
Ms Chan Sik Mun from HSBC Singapore at a luncheon for the Britain
Brunei Business Forum (BBBF) members.
The talk was held yesterday at
Sheraton Utama Hotel. Ms Chan, Vice President of Corporate Real Estate
and Business Support, is responsible for physical security of JISBC
Securities in Singapore as well as planning for business recovery in
the event of a disaster or crisis such as communicable disease
outbreak, for example the SARS and bird flu outbreak.
She was supported by Mr Matthew
Martin, Chief Operating Officer of HSBC Brunei, who covered practical
issues arising in the Bruneian context.
The event was attended by the British
High Commissioner to Brunei, Mr John Saville in his role as the
Honorary President of the forum.
The Britain Brunei Business Forum is
the leading British linked business group in the country.
It aims to develop linkages between
British and Brunei business communities.
Formed in October 2001, BBBF now has
42 registered members. It is supported by the British High Commission
in Bandar Seri Begawan. --
