Mukim Kilanas Wraps Up Royal Birthday Celebration

Bandar Seri Begawan - The night stalls and stage performances held in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan of Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 59th birthday celebration, which was sponsored by Mukim Kilanas Consultative Council, ended with a host of stage performances and prize presentation for winners of competitions held during its run. Winners from the Suboh Azan competition, Syair competition and singing competition, were awarded.

Invited artistes Wahid Satay, Aziz Sattar, Liza Abdullah, Salwa Abd Rahman and Norli from Malaysia enlivened the event. A number of exhibitions by several agencies such as the Narcotics Control Bureau and the Royal Brunei Police Force were on display.

Guest of honour at the closing ceremony was Pehin Dato Paduka Haji A.wang Adanan bin Begawan Pehin Dato Seri Setia Haji Mohd Yusof, Minister of Home Affairs, who handed prizes to the winners.
