World Tech Experts Set To Attend BICET

Bandar Seri Begawan – Experts in engineering and technology will be in the country to attend one of the most prestigious technology conferences, 2nd Brunei international Conference on Engineering and Technology (BICET) August 15-18 at the Rizqun International Hotel, The Mall in Gadong.

Organised by the Institut Teknologi Brunei, Professor Ian Young and Dr George K. Kostopoulos are among the experts who are expected to attend the event.

Professor Young is currently the vice chancellor of Swinburne University of Technology in Australia.

He specialises in coastal and ocean engineering, and has been involved in projects with the NASA let Propulsion Laboratory in California, United States as well as working as a research scientist at the Max Planck Institut fur Meteorologic in Hamburg, Germany.

Meanwhile, Dr Kostopoulos is aprofessor of computer science and information systems at the American University of Kuwait. He specialises in electrical and computer engineering.
