Winners Of Royal Birthday Photography Competition

Bandar Seri Begawan - The winners for the photography competition organised by the Executive Committee for Festivities in conjunction with His Majesty's 59th birthday celebration in the Tutong District were announced yesterday.

The first place went to Ahmad Zaini bin OKMB Haji Othman while Nurul Nazirah binti Sha' ari and Awang lradat Haji Gador came in second and third.

Twenty entries were received for the competition with the theme `Suasana Keberangkatan KDYMM' during His Majesty's visit to the Tutong District for the 'Junjung Ziarah' event.

The judging of the entries was carried out yesterday at the Tutong District Office. The contest was run by the PERTAMA Photography Club.

There were three judges for the competition, namely James Ling, Awe., Hassan Hj Zunaidi and Hj Haizul Rizal from the Tutong District Office.

Present to witness the judging was the Tutong Assistant District Officer, Awang WLxdi Hj Mohammad.

An exhibition and prize presentation will be held on August 7 during the Pesta Perayaan Rakyat at the Komplex Kenangan of the Tutong Community Centre. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
