MasterCard International Returns As Official Card Of Malaysia Sale Carnival

Bandar Seri Begawan - Malaysian Ministry of Tourism recently announced that the MasterCard International has returned as the official card of the Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival 2005 for the fifth consecutive year.

"As the official card of the carnival, MasterCard has, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, lined up a new array of exciting programmes and contests to create the ultimate shopping experience for all MasterCard holders," said Jim Cheah, vice president and senior country manager of Malaysia and Brunei MasterCard International.

According to the latest MasterCard research report, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia is a travel-shopping destination, and Malaysia's total earning from tourism is expected to reach RM60 billion by 2010. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
