Islamic Management Intensive
Workshop Ends With Certificate Presentation

Begawan - Forty-six participants of the Islamic Management
Intensive workshop yesterday received their certificates after
completing the two-day workshop at the Bunker's Cafe of the Empire
Hotel and Country Club.
With the title `Inculcating Islamic
Management onto Your Organisations Toward Productivity and Human
Resource Development,' the workshop was attended by senior officers
from large private organisations as well as numerous government
agencies including the Civil Services Institute, the Ministry of
Religious Affairs, Brunei Shell Petroleum, DST, IBB and others.
On hand to present the certificates
to the recipients was Dato Aidit Ghazali, who was also the facilitator
of the workshop.
Among the objectives of the workshop
were to inculcate the Islamic values in various disciplines that are
related to management and decision making, to understand the ethical
issues in workplace, to increase productivity and further improve the
human resources development via effective implementation of Islamic
management and motivation.
During the workshop, participants
concentrated on modules such as inculcating the values of the Insan
Rabbani, manager as an organisation facilitator, managing change
through Islamic empowerment technique, and, planning and decision
making in Islam. --
