Brunei Qualifiers For E-Games
Six-Nation Championship

Begawan - In conjunction with Zzap! -E-Games Asia 2005, a
workshop was conducted in Berakas to find Brunei Qualifiers for the
first ever E-Games Six-Nation Championship.
For what promises to be one of the
biggest E-game competitions featuring top teams from the region, the
aforementioned event attracted an overwhelming turnout as 70
participants battled it out to represent the country on August 20 and
21 in Cyberjaya.
It will be Malaysia's first-ever
international E-games tournament. The prestigious contest is also
going to have professional players from Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand
and the Philippines all showcasing their gaming skills at the highest
level.
The local representatives are
expected to leave on August 19. Three teams, called Rofl, Untitled
Garners and Just Kidding, have been selected to compete in the Counter
Strike PC Version 1.6 category.
Meanwhile, there will be three
Bruneian players each competing in Warcraft Three: Frozen Throne
(comprising winners Joshua Kok Chun, Ting See Chung and Han Kang, Siew)
as well as PS2 Winning Eleven Eight (Hj Mohd Hafidzullah Hj Sani, Amir
Safuan Hj Mohd Diah and Mohd Hilmi Shah Mohd Sahri). --
