St Angela's students learn more about turtles

Mr Hariel Hj Simpol from the Fisheries Department led his team to visit St Angela's School, Seria last Saturday. They brought with them some live turtles to educate the Nursery and Kindergarten students about the different species of turtles. The students also learnt about the turtles' diet and more importantly, they were told of the importance of turtles to the environment. The students spent an informative morning learning about turtles through photographs and video clips shown to them and by petting the turtles after the talk.
