Stretching for better health

More Bruneians are beginning to
realise the many health benefits of exercise including the importance
of stretching as part of their daily activities.
This was clearly reflected by an
increased number of participants in the free stretching sessions
organised by the Fitness Zone trainers at Bukit Shahbandar recently
where many joggers joined in the fun.
The outdoor stretching programme
which is done with music aims to give the public a proper stretching
demonstration and it has proven to be a big success as it has
attracted more and more followers since it started.
The event was held as part of the
Fitness Zone Community programme at several different venues each
month on Sundays from 4.15 pm to 5.30 pm.
Fitness Zone has also introduced an
exciting new group class session on Core Conditioning that uses an
exercise ball to help the conditioning of the abdominal muscles.
