Entrepreneurship Students Visit
IDBB

Begawan - Seven students from the Technical Education
Department, Ministry of Education paid an educational visit to the
head office of the Islamic Development Bank of Brunei Berhad (IDBB) in
Kiulap.
These students are currently
undertaking an entrepreneurship development training programme for
institutional, technical and vocational graduates.
Accompanying the students were
teachers Hi Ali Rahman Hj Naim and Mariah Hj Abdul Manaf.
Upon arrival the students were
welcomed by Hj Mohd Sahroll bin Hj Mohd Roger, Business Development
Executive of IDBB, who later gave them a briefing on the role of each
department of the bank.
He also highlighted the services
offered by IDBB, particularly "Microcredit Financing Scheme" for
small-medium enterprise, which aims to provide financial assistance
for existing and new small/micro entrepreneurs.
The students toured various
departments at the office, including the SME Department, Perdana World
Banking and Operations Department.
So far, six batches of students from
the Technical Education Department have visited IDBB, as part of their
training programme.
