Speech Competition Finals Set August 30

Bandar Seri Begawan - The finals of the speech competition jointly organized by RTB's Rangkaian Pelangi and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce will be held on 30 August .

A signing ceremony for the joint venture programme was held yesterday afternoon.

The first-ever joint venture has received an overwhelming response from the public. As many as 200 applications have been received but only eight will vie for the title.

There are two categories in this year's event, one for schools and colleges nationwide and the other -an open category.

The agreement was signed by the director Pengiran Dato Haji Ismail on behalf of Radio Television Brunei, and the President of the Chinese Chambers of Commerce, Awang Robert Koh.
