Brunei To Host Asia-Pacific Scout
Conference

Begawan - Brunei will play as a host to the Asia-Pacific
Regional (APR) Scout Conference from 6 to 11 December next year at the
International Convention Centre in Berakas.
A meeting was held between
representatives from ministries and governments departments in
preparation for next year's APR conference held at the scouts
association headquarters building in Gadong yesterday.
Present at the meeting was the
President of the Scout Association, Pehin Dato Haji Awang Mohd Ali. In
his address, Pehin said the association needs cooperation and support
from all the government agencies in preparing the upcoming conference.

He also thanked the government
agencies for their contributions.
The Asia-Pacific Regional Scout
Conference is held triennially. As such, several programmes have been
arranged prior to the conference such as the scout leader trainer
course, CLT, and the APR youth forum.
The conference will not only be
attended by the Asia-Pacific region scouts committee but also
participated by international members of the scouts association. |
