His Majesty then
proceeded to the Training Facilities Building where the
monarch received a briefing and video presentation on
the facilities provided at the Brigade. His Majesty was
given a demonstration on the use of computerised
tactical training and tank simulator as a mans of
training the armour unit personnel and observed closely
military tanks on display.
Before concluding the
visit to the 35'h Al-Shaheed (Martyrs) Armour Brigade
Facilities, His Majesty was invited to the Officers'
Mess where His Majesty was greeted by Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak
AI-Hamad Al-Sabah, Acting Prime Minister and Minister of
Defence, Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah,
Minister-in-Attendance and other senior officers of the
Armour Brigade.
His Majesty was
presented with souvenirs by Sheikh Jaber Al-MubarakAlHamad
Al-Sabah, Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Defence.
In return, His Majesty presented Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak
Al-Hamad Al-Sabah with a military plaque.
In the afternoon, His
Majesty went for horse-riding at Hunting and Equestrian
Club where the monarch was greeted by Sheikh Dhari Fand
Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Club. --
