His Majesty Arrives In Kuwait
Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty
the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday
arrived in Kuwait City to commence his three-day state visit to the
country.

His Majesty,
who is accompanied by a high-level official delegation of
Brunei, was welcomed by His Highness Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh
Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at the Amiri Terminal of
Kuwait International Airport.
Also present were the Crown
Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah,
Deputy Chief of the National Guard Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad
Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Acting Prime Minister and Minister of
Defence Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister
of Amiri Diwan Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad, as well as
other members of the Kuwaiti Royal Family, state dignitaries
and members of the Kuwaiti Government and Brunei's
nonresident ambassador to Kuwait, Pg Dato |

His Majesty and the
Amir were led to inspect a Guard of Honour mounted by
the Amiri Guard after the national anthems of both
countries were played.
His Majesty was then
introduced to the Kuwaiti cabinet ministers, advisers,
governors, and senior government officials.
In the afternoon, His
Majesty attended a briefing on the economic development
and investment in Kuwait by Managing Director of Kuwait
Investment Authority, Bader Mohd Al-Saad, at the Bayan
Palace. --
