His Majesty Receives UK’s Chief Of Defense Staff

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Minister of Defence and Supreme Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), yesterday received in audience Air Chief Marshal Sir Jock Stirrup, Chief of Defence Staff of the United Kingdom, at Istana Nurul Iman.

He was accompanied by RBAF Commander Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Hj Awg Halbi Hj Md Yussof.

This is Sir Jock Stirrup's first visit to the country since his appointment as the Chief of Defence Staff. -- Courtesy of The Brunei Times
