Omar And Orphans Fund Win At
Customs Charity Golf Event

Begawan - The Royal Customs and Excise Department, through
the Sports and Welfare Body, organised their third charity golf
event on April 25 and 27 at the RBA Golf Club in Berakas.
More than 100 golfers participated
in the two-day event, which was open to members of the public.
The prize presentation was held
yesterday where the guest of honour was the Minister of Finance II,
Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awg Haji Abd Rahman bin
Haji Ibrahim.
The overall winner was Omar Haji
Bahar who compiled 44 points.
In Division A, first place went to Haji Md Sout (43 points OCB), second was Pg Haji Zamani Pg Haji
Ahmad (43 points) and third was Dullah Sitar (40 points OCB).
In Division B, Pg Osman Pg Haji
Serudin (42 points OCB) came first, defeating Pehin Haji Tahir-(42-points)
who came second and Pg Haji Ibrahim Pg Haji Othman (41 points) who
won third place.
In Division C, first, second and
third places went to Dato Paduka Haji Metassan (41 points), Dato
Paduka Haji Suni (40 points) and Haji Mohd Roselan Haji Mohd Daud
(38 points OCB).
The prize for nearest to pin at
hole 2 went to Ahmad Yani; at hole 5 - Hj Mohd Shahrul Hj Roger; at
hole 12-- Hj Suhaini Suhaili; hole 14 Hj,Hamdani Hj Zakaria; and
hole 16 - Bahrin Matnoor.
Hj Abd Khalid Hj Abdul Halim won
nearest to the line prize and Sanjok Moktan won the longest drive
prize.
Meanwhile, chairman of the
organising committee, Haji Kamsani bin Haji Md Hassan said that part
of the proceeds collected from the charity golf will be donated to
Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans.
The charity golf tournament was an
annual event of the Royal Customs and Excise Department's Sports and
