One-Stop For E-Home Shopping At Intracorp

Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei's leading consumer electronic chain store, Intracorp (B) Sdn Bhd, yesterday launched its 4 t4 new identity that incorporates the furniture business into its existing retail stores so as to provide a one-stop home and electronics solution to end-consumers in Brunei.

To mark the occasion, Intracorp invited Deputy Minister of Industry and Primary Resources, Dato Paduka Hj Hamdillah Hj Abd Wahab, to officiate at the opening of its latest furniture & electrical store at Kg Madewa in Jalan Tutong.

Amongst other VIPs witnessing the opening were YAM Pg Anak Hj Abd Wadood Bolkiah, Singapore High Commissioner Mr Joseph Koh, Director of Brunei Industry Development Authority Pg Sharifuddin Pg Hj Matali and several other senior government officers as well as bankers, hoteliers, lawyers, industry-related businesses and business partners.

CEO of TT International Ltd Singapore and Managing Director of Intracorp (B) Sdn Bhd, Mr Sng Sze Hiang in his welcoming note stated that retailers today do their best to provide excellent service and quality products to win over new customers while placating existing ones.

This new furniture business is now a part ofthe company's new focus to diversify to suit the today's modern shoppers with the ultimate aim of presenting a trendy image.

"We want to give you a new exciting lifestyle shopping experience unique in Brunei," he noted and added that "more significantly, we shall concentrate on customer services such as to provide free home style and design advice" with the intention to package free deliveries and safe installation . of our products in the customer's home.

With the opening of the store, it will meet the burgeoning market demand and deliver superior and efficient services to customers. And with the combination of these two, customer always get value for money in Intracorp, he said.

Intracorp's first furniture and electrical store comprises of a house of brands namely Novena, White Collection, Natural Living, Castilla Design, Castilla Premium and Castilla Modern with each brand addressing different lifestyle needs and design theme preferences of consumers from different income brackets.

The brand name Novena started out as a traditional home furniture retailer back in 1984, selling furniture from a HDB shop in the heartland of Jurong East, Singapore and today it has become a recognised leader in providing lifestyle home concepts in Singapore comprising of the six house brands.
