System Analyst Receives Microsoft Certificate

Bandar Seri Begawan - A certificate presentation was held yesterday morning at the Ministry of Communications building at Jalan Menteri Besar, Brunei Darussalam.

The Acting Minister of Communications, Dato Paduka Haji Yussof bin Haji Abd Hamid presented the certificate to Hajah Noor Zawatil Amal Frishah binti HajiAji, SystemAnalyst from Ministry of Communications who had passed the exam and achieved Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist for Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.

Present at the ceremony was Mr Chan Wan Kong, Microsoft Country Manager for Brunei Darussalam.

She was given the opportunity to take the examination after attending five days of training in SharePoint workshop (from January 28 to February 1, 2008) organised by the Microsoft (B) at the Microsoft Office in Bandar Seri Begawan.

During the first two days of training, she learned about the knowledge and skills to success in implementing Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) version 3.0 within the organisations.

In the remaining three days' training, she learned the knowledge and skill required to implement Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.

She took the examination on both Implementing Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) and Implementing Office SharePoint Server 2007 on February 2 and March 8 respectively. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
