Kg Penanjong Mosque Undergoes Renovation

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Kg Penanjong mosque in the Tutong District is now undergoing renovation work.

New extensions to the wings of the mosque are built in order to accommodate the ever-increasing number of worshippers to the mosque. A number of new air-conditioners have also been installed to provide more comfort to worshippers.

In addition to these, a new dome, which is normally the trademark of a mosque, is also constructed. The tower or the minaret, another distinctive trademark, is also undergoing renovation.

A new ablution spot is also being built in order to provide better facilities and also to reduce waiting time, especially during Friday prayers.

This will also prove to be very convenient during the Terawih prayers in the month of Ramadhan and also during other major prayers such as the morning prayer of the Hari. Raya Aidilfitri and Hari Raya Aidiladha.
