STPRI Sports Day

Bandar Seri Begawan - Sekolah Tinggi Perempuan Raja Isteri (STPRI) held its 32°d annual sports day at the Padang and Belapan Sports Complex yesterday.

The event began with a mass singing of the national anthem and the STPRI school song followed by a welcoming speech delivered by the school Principal.

Present as the guest of honour was Awang Ali Haj i Ismail;the Acting Assistant Director at the Co-Curriculum Education Department, Ministry of Education.

The day also included a marching event by the participants followed by a sports pledge by Akmal Khollah Haji Idris before the gathering s f the four sport houses: Amber, Jade, Saphire and Ruby.

The event ended with the presentation of prizes to the track and field participants by the guest of honour and STPRI administration staff. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
