Undertakes Carbon Foot Printing Study
By P. Marilyn
Bandar Seri
Begawan - Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd, renowned for its
services in delivering complete Health Safety and Environment (HSE)
Training and Consultancy Solutions, has undertaken a Carbon Foot
Printing Study recently.
As the preferred quality training
provider for Shell EPA covering South East Asia and the Pacific
Region, Megamas is the first training provider worldwide to
undertake such a study and this initiative reflects the enormous
on-going work throughout the UK on Carbon Foot Printing.
This study helps Megamas to better
understand its environmental impacts throughout its core and related
business.
The press release said that the
knowledge of this data, and the steps required to undertake and
manage its on-going Carbon Footprint provide synergy with the
quality of consultancy and training courses offered, and highlighted
Megamas' on-going commitment and response to climatic changes.
Megamas has clear ambitions to
develop sustainable initiatives both internally amongst its staff
and amongst participants, but equally has a long-term strategy to
develop the role of sustainable thinking externally within the
country and region.
With no legislation or regulation
in Brunei, Megamas has pre-empted future inevitable global
legislation to be recognised as a forward-thinking business in the
region. -- Courtesy of Borneo
