Special Talk To Mark Maulud Nabi

Bandar Seri Begawan - A special talk was yesterday held at Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic Secondary School for Boys (SMALHAB), in conjunction with Maulud Nabi.

Among those present at the event were SMALHAB Principal Ustazah Hjh Asmah binti Haji Randah and students from SMALHAB, Mahad Islam Brunei, Jerudong Arabic Preparatory School, BSB Arabic Preparatory School, and Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Arabic Secondary School for Girls.

The event began with a recital of Surah al-Fatihah, read by Ustaz Salah Ali Abdul Salam El-Ashkar, followed by a talk by invited speaker Professor Dato Dr Ustaz Sayyid Muhammad Aqiel.

The objectives of the event were to exemplify Prophet Muhammad and to strengthen piety of individuals in the teachings of Islam. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
